Fact about Puerto Rico

  1. Don’t need a passport, because Since Puerto Rico is the commonwealth of the US, US citizens can travel to Puerto Rico and back without passports.
  2. Puerto Rico is the rum capital of the world. Producing over 100,000 tons of rum every year, the Bacardi rum factory in San Juan, is the largest rum distillery in the world. The drinking age in Puerto Rico is 18 years old.
  3. Puerto Rico has never been an independent nation. The head of State in Puerto Rico is by default the President of the US.

    I didn't realize that there wasn't a Head of State in PR. So, are cities/states managed by like governors and mayors, while federal law is dictated by the U.S.?

    They are managed by governors and mayors. Politicians is a big deal in Pr actually..
