How To Put On Lotion

In Girls 2.0 we are doing "How To Posts" and I thought it would be cool to tell how to put on lotion. I'd like to tell everyone how to put on lotion because I personally hate to be ashy. I have really sensative skin and when it gets dry it gets flaky. I also prefer to use ab specific lotion called Johnson-Johnson because its relaxing and leaves your skin really soft.

Step 1: Prepare the lotion
Get some Johnson-Johnson lotion. Its best if it's a nice tempature..THE CREAMIER THE BETTER
Step 2: Squeezing the lotion out
Squeeze a nice amount of lotion out not to much and not to little and rub the lotion in your hand
Step 3:  After you rub the lotion in your hand rub it on the rusty parts of your body.....AND THATS HOW YOU APPLY LOTION :)

How To Pick Out The Perfect Purse!

Have you ever had a hard time picking out the perfect purse? Do you have a purse but don't really like it so it's sitting in the back of your closet collecting dust? Do you even own a purse? Well, if you answered "yes" to the first two questions and "no" to the last question, then these quick step by step instructions may help you out a ton! CAUTION: You might have fun purse shopping! (:

Step 1: Ask Yourself
-What kind of purse am I looking for today?
            -What's my budget?
-How much am I willing to pay for a bag?
-Is it for a special occasion?
-Am I going to use it everyday?
-What do I usually carry in my purse?
-Do I want it to match a certain outfit?
-What kind of purse am I looking for? (Tote, clutch, cross body, shoulder, etc)
-Do I want to color coordinate with my accessories?
-Is there anything specific I would like? (Zipper opening, pockets inside or outside of purse, etc.)
The answers to the these questions are essential to begin down the road of picking out the perfect purse!

Step 2: Don't Be Quick To Pick
Now, it's great to have options when it comes to purse shopping. If you see a purse that you like or might consider, keep it in mind and move on. You don't have to totally forget about it but sometimes there are better purses than the one you're looking at. Consider sturdiness, function, size, design, and price. Don't buy an overpriced bag! It may end up being poor quality and not last long. Another tip, don't buy a bag just because it's cute but you know in the back of your head that it won't last. There are plenty of cute purses that can last long as well. Whatever you like, take note of it and you can come back to it later.

Step 3: If You Don't Absolutely Love It In The Store, You Won't Love It At Home
Now it's time to slice 'em and dice 'em! Go down the list of what you have seriously considered to be the lucky purse you're going to buy today! Remember, ask yourself the essential questions and don't lie to yourself! If it's cute but not sturdy, don't buy it. If it's KIND OF meeting your needs and wants, don't buy it! There are plenty of purses that have everything you need and want, not KIND OF. So cross off every purse that isn't satisfying you to the max. When you have narrowed it down to 2 or 3 purses, consider which one is more sturdier, reasonably priced, fits the occasion, color, and design.

Step 4: Take That Lucky Purse Home!
Walk on down to that cash register and buy that beautiful thing! Take it home and use it when you need/ want to. Don't forget to wrap it up or place it in the bag that came with the purse. You don't want to depreciate the purse in any kind of way, especially if you plan on keeping it for a while. Other than that, have fun with your lovely purse!

How To Get Over An Ex: 5 Simple Steps

1. Take your ex off that pedestal.

Stop acting like your ex was God's gift to mankind. He/she wasn't perfect. Make a list of his/her annoying traits. Do whatever you have to do just take him/her off the pedestal.

2. Get closure.

If you're going to end this thing, end it. Make sure you're both on the same page and get any information that you feel is necessary concerning them and/or the break-up.

3. Don't contact your ex.

After you’ve gotten closer, don’t contact him/her. Go cold turkey, seriously! Maybe you said something about trying to stay friends, maybe you made some idiot vow to “always be there for each other” but forget it. By staying in touchwith old flames there's going to be on-again-off-again uncertainty. So throw out him/her phone number, stop texting him/her, unfriend him/her on Facebook and unfollow him/her on Twitter.

4. Avoid your ex's friends and the places he/she would typically hang.

If you want to avoid the temptations that come with bumping into an ex, you might have to make some sacrifices. You might have stop associating with some of your mutual friends. You might have to avoid some of your favorite places too.

5. Party, Party, Party!
Get up and get out. Go partying with friends and be young, wild and free. Moping around the house wouldn't do anything but make you depressed.

How To... Make A Bow

I am going to give you a step-by-step process of  how to make a bow out of  a hair scarf.

Step 1: Get a hair scarf, about 2-3 feet long, any color you want.

Step 2: Even the scarf out, and place it to the back of your head.

Step 3: Bring the scarf to the front of your head, and hold tightly.

Step 4: Tie as if you were tying your shoes.

*If the ends of the scarf stick out, you can leave it be, or tuck the ends in the lining of the scarf that's being secured on your head .*

How to do a fishtail braid

Doing a fishtail braid isn't as hard as it may seem. Actually, I JUST learned this morning how to do one. So, here's a step by step process on how to do one.

Step 1:
It's actually better to do a fishtail braid while your hair is wet, but you can do it dry. I highly suggest putting moose in your hair, or wetting it FIRST.

Step 2:
Brush all of your hair back. Make sure it's nicely combed.

Step 3:
Comb out the middle EXTRA good. Grab two little pieces of hair. Cross one piece over the second piece.

Step 4:
Grab another piece of your hair, overlapping the second piece going the opposite way.

Step 5 and on...
Continue this process until your fishtail is complete.

There you go, wasn't so hard was it? For further help, you can always go to youtube to see visually.  Hope you enjoy (:

My Expertise....Dancing<3
Dancing has always been something that I've enjoyed. Even if it's modern, jazz, ballet or even hip-hop. The sight of dancing and it's movement really expresses how the individual feels when the music is played. Knowing how to dance isn't always easy for everyone but, if you take it step-by-step you can really get far! Learning choreography is always a great way to start dancing. It's a guidance and leads you the whole way through.

Step 1: Stretching ! Stretching is something that should always be done before any type of scarce movement that you may do... trust me. It will be very helpful in the longrun.
Step 2: Watching the instructor perform the routine. This is so, that you have a visual intake on what you will be doing and how the routine should be done.
Step 3: Being very observant. Watching the instructor and trying to catch a certain pace you can follow.

Step 4: Learning! When learning the moves its best to learn them by four counts. "1...&...2...3...&..4" each count is a different move, and mostly the "&'s" are just a transition into the next move that represents a beat.
Step 5: When learning at certain number of counts that you're comfortable with, you move on to the next moves in the routine in the same order of counts.Step 6: You repeat steps 4-5.

Step 7: You should now get a feel of the entire routine. You walk through it and go over any moves that you may be are unsure of. Step 8: Rehearse it with the music... if you still stumble over moves you can always go back to step 7 and go over the moves. And, then you just keep rehearsing until you complete the moves and start to put your own attitude and feeling into it.!

Helping A Friend Going Through A Break Up

Looking from the outside in it isn't hard to pass judgement on anyones relationship. You can never tell how serious the relationship was or wasn't. When a friend is going through a break up i feel it is important to keep your opinion of the relationship to yourself even when asked. Your friend already has mixed feelings of the person they were in a former relationship with, leaning one way will probably tell them you dont care about what their saying because your mind is already set. Another thing is stay away from the "I told you so" speech. They become extremely annoying and mentioning it will probably bring alot of hostility and maybe even a break in friendship because the lack of friendly support. Its always good to help someone cope with their situation but it is also important to make sure your helping and not offending someone.

How to give good advice

At some point in time, everyone is going to get asked for advice. Some people are never quite sure what to say when their friends come to them with problems, but its actually quite simple to give your friends good advice, even when you wouldn't know what to do if you were in that situation yourself.

                                                        Steps to live by,
                                                     When giving others advice

  1. The first step to giving good advice, is just to listen. Listen to your friends problems, don't ask any questions or judge them for their situation. Just listen.
  2. As you listen to their advice, briefly think about the situation, and how the other people involved have been affected. When you actually begin to advise your friend on what to do, you'll have to keep everyone's best interest in mind, and not just your friend's.
  3. Ask them how they're feeling, you'll find that sometimes the actual advice that you give isn't really what your friend is looking for. They may think that they need advice, when they really already know what to do, and they just need to know that somebody's on their side.Tell them all the things that they did right in their situation, telling them this will make them feel as though you really are on their side, and if they feel this way, they'll actually listen to the advice you tell them
  4. Tell them what you would do if you had been them. But then quickly make them laugh afterwards. Cause chances are, the things that you would do would be better than what they did, cause you had a longer time to think about it and you weren't in the heat of the moment when you were making your decision. So it will make them feel inferior and stupid to hear how their friend knew what to do, better than they did themselves. So by making them laugh afterwards, it will take their minds off of feeling inferior, and make them more lighthearted.
  5. Point out the flaws in what they did in their situation. Then point out the flaws in what you said you would do in their situation. Then point out the strong points of both what they and you would do.
  6. Think again about the other people involved, and then considering them and your friend, tell your friend to do a combination of continuing to do the good things that they did, and what you would do.
  7. This advice may not always work out for your friend, but if you give your friend advice by using this order of events, it will help your friend feel better. And in a lot of situations the advice isn't half as important as making your friend feel better.

How To....

Alot of people think thats is easy to get over a break-up. Its not easy at all.If your in a relationship with someone for a long time and you guys end up breaking up you can be emotionally, physically, and mentally messed up.Everyone deals with this situation in different manners. Me I would be upset and kind of sad if i really cared for that person and depending on how strong our relationship was i would maybe cry but not for everyone. You should just take time for your your self because it you guys broke up it might was not meant to be if your not together. I feel that if it was a real relationship you guys should find ways to work things out and get things on the right track.
F.Y.I dont let all your feelings out at one time TAKE THINGS SLOW !!!!!
