Our Walk Through Uptown

Last Thursday Girl World 2.0 took a walk through Uptown. It was enjoyable to me, and fascinating to see the different parks. I haven't came to Uptown before, aside from this job and all I was hearing is how bad of an area it is. Uptown looks like a nice area, with a lot of pretty buildings. However, there is a lot of homeless people. That's another thing I really noticed. It's like on every corner there's a homeless person. From the time i'm in Uptown I don't witness any negative activity, and I honestly don't want to. The parks around Uptown are also better than the parks around my house. I think aside from the violence in the community, Uptown is actually a nice area
