Pay it Forward....

My experience with the term "Pay it Forward" was random, out of the ordinary, and very weird but, in a good way. I would assume that I was coming from visiting my grandmother because, I was on the Wilson Train platform when it happened. I was sitting down waiting for the train to come when a man approached talking on his phone. He glanced at me and, then said "Hold on..." He looked at me and, said "You are very beautiful...". I looked at him in an aggressive way because I thought he was being a perve. But, he kept talking. "You don't have to reply to me nor listen to me but, you should smile." I kind of let my gaurd down a bit and my facial expression loosened up as well. Then, he surprised me when he said "You are very beautiful and don't let anyone tell you different..." and went about his phone conversation. When he turned away I smiled. It was nice to hear that. I get this type of approach at least twice a month and, it's nice to know that other's see the beauty in me even if I don't see it within myself. <3

  1. Once a man came up to me on the street and he asked me my name and my "ethnic makeup" (Ha! Seriously, he did!) I kept my guard up too because I was unsure of his motivations -- but then he said, 'Well, Saarah, it was a pleasure to meet you, and YOU make me want to be a better man." And then he just walked away! It really stunned me. Still not sure how I feel about it!
