Roof-Top Garden
Typically when you hear garden you think of plants everywhere in the ground but last week the young ladies of Girl World 2.0 took a trip to a roof-top garden. The garden is located on top of the Weiss Hospital on the northside where all types of foods are grown. It's very different from any other gardens because the plants need to be watered more, it's very HOT and instead of dirt they have to use soil which were held in special crates they built from wood. It was a cool experience because you got to learn about how the garden function, the different foods and every water the plants yourself. I think it would be great if everyone got the chance to see the garden. P.s bring lots of sunscreen water and bring you favorite pair of shades or go when it's not that warm out.!!!

Hey! Good advice to anyone going to visit the garden. It WAS pretty hot that day, but thank you for being a "trooper" and really experiencing what they do at the garden. :) Hope you enjoyed the trip and will find some time on your own to visit it or another garden like it again. :)
