Title: Why do Teens have suicidal thoughts
Point of view: teens have these type of thoughts becasue they cant live regular teenage lives.
Why I chose this topic: I chose this topic because this is what most teens experience. This is how they feel.

What do you think drives a teen to this point of hopelessness?
ReplyDeleteIs it when someone feels like they have no one to talk to? Or is it a depression so deep that they can't talk about it even if they wanted to?
I Think TheThe greater question is how to notice these signs and how to intervene successfully. Teens who are seriously thinking and perhaps planning to commit suicide are often feeling depressed. An important element to their depression is the feeling of hopelessness. While it is common for teens to experience temporary periods of sadness or mild depression depending on their life situation, prolonged depression (lasting several weeks or months) with elements of hopelessness is an important predictor of suicide.
