What do people really want?

Hey internet surfers,

     So I was thinking this weekend about what people want, because you see my mom wanted my opinion on a pair of shoes she wanted to buy when we were shoe at DSW for my graduation pictures. The shoes she showed me weren't my favorite and she thought they were fabulous. So she comes over to me and asks me what I think of them... and honestly I just couldn't tell her I liked them soI told her how I felt, and what does she do? She buys the Puma ballet flats and my cowboy boots. So I came to the conclusion that it didn't matter what I said, she was till gonna buy the shoes! Why, because it made her happy and whatever makes you happy should define your decisions and not what other people think. Sure you should keep in mind if something is appropriate or not for an event but other than that, the opinion of people who you don't have to share a confidence and mind with don't matter. So remember that your own opinion of yourself is all that count, and that's the best lesson I've learned from high school because everyday you encounter people that think they are so much better than you when really they're jealous of you and they just comprehend the style and beauty of the things you see as beautiful.
