My Personal Definition of "Pay It Forward": A personal experience, or a experience in general that has an everlasting effect, that can be passed on to others, to have the same effect. (A "domino" effect)
My experience: It was about a year ago, and I had just started wearing make-up. My sister was a LuvaBull, and she had a friend over to do her make-up before the game. I had just gotten into the house, and I had went straight to my room. My sister had saw me, and invited me to come meet her friend. As soon as her friend saw me, she did a double take. she said "Oh my God, you're so beautiful!" I thanked her, and proceeded to leave. But before I could, she asked me did I wear make-up. I said yes, and she said, "Could you take it off?" I was kind of hesitant, because I don't like taking off my make-up, and letting people see my face. But I did, and when I did, she said to me, "Honestly, you're more beautiful WITHOUT the make-up. Never feel like you need to wear it. Your natural beauty shines, just remember that."
That stuck with me, and although I do continue to wear makeup, I now feel like it's my choice, and I know that I don't need it. :)
That's the best when people you don't know tell you that you're beautiful, isn't it?! I always feel like as a woman, and women in general are always under pressure to be beautiful and find themselves "coming up short", so when strangers, you know it's not lip service. It would totally make my day -- and it's even cooler that she thinks that you're beautiful without makeup. I am the same. I like to wear makeup, but I know that I have a choice, too. :)
